1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account on Winkst or taking part in a game hosted on it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your password confidential, and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Winkst to upload or host content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harassing, hateful, or obscene, and not to use it to distribute malware, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account or system, to disrupt other people's games, or to scrape or overload the service. Nicknames chosen when joining a game must not be offensive; hosts can remove and block players during a game.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the quizzes, questions, and media you create. By publishing a quiz publicly on this site you grant the operator the licence needed to host and display it, and you allow other users to view it and — where you enable it — to copy it into their own library. You are responsible for holding the rights to anything you upload.

5. Paid plans

Paid plans are billed in advance for the period shown at checkout. Plan limits, such as the number of quizzes, questions, or players, apply for the duration of the subscription. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the period already paid for. Where payment is collected by manual bank transfer, access begins once the operator has approved the payment. Refunds are handled according to the refund terms published by the operator of this site.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, updates, and factors outside our control may cause interruptions. Live gameplay depends on a working network connection on both the host's and the players' devices.

7. Intellectual property

The software, its design, and its trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. These terms grant you no licence to copy, resell, or redistribute the software itself.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. Continued use of the service after a revision takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Contact
