プライバシーポリシー
1. Information we collect
Account information. When you register we store your name, email address, and password (hashed, never in readable form). If you sign in through a third-party provider the operator has enabled — such as Google, Facebook, or Apple — we receive your name, email address, and provider account identifier from them instead of a password.
Content you create. Quizzes, questions, answers, images and audio you upload, workspaces, and any assignments you hand out.
Gameplay data. When a game is hosted we record the nickname each player enters, the answers they submit, response times, and scores, so the host can see live results and open the report afterwards. Players can join a game with a nickname alone — no account and no email address is required to play.
Billing information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, the payment is handled by the payment provider configured on this site. We store the resulting transaction record — amount, currency, plan, status, and the provider's reference — but never your full card number.
Support requests. Messages and any files you attach to a support ticket.
2. How we use your information
We use this information to operate the service: to run your games and show live results, to keep your quiz library and reports available, to process subscriptions and renewals, to send transactional email such as verification, password resets, and receipts, and to respond to support requests. We also use aggregate, non-identifying figures to understand how the service is used.
3. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the providers required to run the service — for example the payment gateway that processes your subscription, and the mail provider that delivers transactional email — and only to the extent each needs to perform that function. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to.
Note that gameplay is social by design: the nickname a player chooses is visible to the host and to other players on the leaderboard and projector display during that game.
4. Data security
Passwords are stored hashed. Sensitive configuration such as payment-gateway secrets is stored encrypted and masked in the admin interface. Access to administrative functions is restricted to accounts holding the administrator role. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access.
5. Your rights
You can review and update your profile, email address, and password from your account settings at any time.
Where the operator has enabled them, the privacy centre in your dashboard also lets you export your data — a downloadable archive of your account, quizzes, and results — and request deletion of your account. Deletion runs after a short grace period during which it can be cancelled, after which your account and personal data are removed. Records we are required to retain for accounting purposes, such as completed transactions, are kept for the statutory period. If either option is not offered on this site, contact us using the details below and we will handle the request.
Depending on where you live you may also have rights to access, correct, restrict, or object to our processing of your information, and to lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority.
6. Children
The service is not directed at children under the age required for consent in their country. Where the service is used in a classroom, the school or teacher is responsible for obtaining any consent required before pupils take part.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised review date.
