1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Some are essential for a site to work at all; others remember your preferences. This site uses only a small number of them, and does not use advertising cookies.

2. Cookies we use

Session cookie (essential). Keeps you signed in and protects forms against cross-site request forgery. Without it you cannot log in or host a game.

Language preference. Remembers the language you selected, on installs offering more than one. This rides the session cookie.

Referral cookie. Only if the operator has enabled the referral programme: arriving through a referral link stores which member referred you, so the referral can be credited if you register. Its lifetime is set by the operator (30 days by default).

3. Other information stored in your browser

Not everything we keep on your device is a cookie, and the distinction matters for your controls: the following are held in your browser's local storage, are never transmitted to us as cookies, and are cleared when you clear site data.

Cookie notice response. Records that you responded to the cookie notice, and which version you saw, so you are not asked again on every page.

Appearance preference. Remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme.

4. Third-party cookies

Pages that involve a payment may set cookies belonging to the payment provider configured on this site, used by that provider for fraud prevention and to complete the transaction. Those cookies are governed by the provider's own cookie policy. Live gameplay uses a WebSocket connection, which does not itself rely on cookies.

5. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers let you refuse them per site. Be aware that blocking the essential cookies above will prevent signing in and hosting games. Where the cookie notice offers a choice, you can also change your response using the notice itself.

6. Retention

The session cookie is removed when your session ends or expires. The referral cookie, when set, expires after the period the operator configured. Values held in local storage stay until you clear your browser's site data.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised review date.
